Thanks for the shout out, Jamie. I appreciate it.

Well, I did it, but I have to exercise. That's just how my Doctor is (and, I suppose, I am too).

Anyone can marathon. All you have to do is get out there and train for it, learn about your self, and sign up for one! (or in mycase, 2, before I got it right!)

There was no sight in my life (recently, at least) that was as sweet as seeing and crossing the finish line in Las Vegas!

Hi Jamie, hope you can get back to running soon. Just wanted to thank you for the diabetic runner challenge. I haven't posted much, but it really did help me to know that there were others with "D" out there running. I wound up with a total of 623 miles for 2008, but some of them were walking as evidenced by the 13:00 min/mile pace that my Garmin says I averaged. But hey, I'm faster than my couch, and that in and of itself is a victory! I've had rough spots, illness, etc., but your challenge is part of what inspired me to get back out there. As you put one foot in front of the other, know that you have helped others along the way. That is a REAL victory!

Hey there! I would love if you set this up again for 2009! I didn't quite make the 500, but this year's another story. Hope you're feeling better and running again!

Many Blessings,
Lilyth

Jamie, don't worry on it too much on the past look to the future. I slipped as well and am trying to put myself back on track. After almost 2.5 years of not needing to be on medication, I am back on. It just inspires me to work harder and get back on track.

I know you can do it, all of have your back.

Hey stranger! Well, due to the torn tendon and then the pregnancy, I have not made my 500 miles. 274 so far, mostly walked, to be exact.

Have you been keeping up with Elijah?

Make a podcast and catch us all up! :)
