Jamie, GREAT WORK on your A1C. Last time I went to my Doc he had someone on a fellowship following him around. He told me my A1C was 6.0, I wasn’t happy, and he started laughing. He said “if only all my patients could be like you”. Even though I would like to consistently be in the mid to high 5’s, it really makes me feel good when the Doc really doesn’t worry about me. Remember, having an A1C around at or below 6 is almost what Non Diabetics bloodwork would be. Keep it up!

According to the A1c sheet issued to me by the endo’s clinic, your A1c is in the ideal range. And that’s worth celebrating! :)

Thanks guys, and I know… it’s almost selfish being upset with this number… I am grateful that I’ve gotten to a point where I can nit-pick like this… before I would have given my left arm to be in the 6’s… Guess I need to keep it in perspective - I mean even my mother called to tell me I’m crazy for being bummed over this #

I know I’m a bit late on this - bug CONGRATULATIONS! You’re beating me in the diabetic A1C competition - I’m a 6.4er; triathlon training has me run high alot.
