A podcast following the life of a diabetic runner. Jamie uses an insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor as he trains for various races as a middle-of-the-pack runner. Follow his training, and gain some insights into running on insulin from first hand accounts of someone actually doing it.

Jamie,
Thanks for your suggested action installing the Carelink USB drivers for Vista. I've been trying for quite sometime to install these drivers to no avail. Your instructions were exactly what I needed. Now, my wife can upload much easier especially since the Paradigm Link does not work with her new glucometer!

Ryan,

From the carelink.minimed.com site (after logging in), I clicked the link at the bottom right of the page, and that sent me to the minimed store where I logged in (different login than the carelink site) and added it to my shopping cart. When placing the order, I didn't have to enter any payment info, since it was FREE.

You can always check the status of your order on the minimed store site using the "Order History" tab.

Jamie, I tried logged in to Carelink and it didn't ask me for much information. It basically said that your Carelink is on its way, or something to that effect. Did you have to go through much to get it on order?

Bob, thanks for writing... I've been following this story since Jerry and Marcus first broke it, and have posted previously about my outrage as well.

However, I still believe in their products, just hope they review this policy and get it corrected.

That's where I stand.

Check this out, DR. What do you think about it? Somewhat timely given the post about Medtronic gear.
