Please see:

http://dommy.com/ihaterunning/2008/03/28/medtronic-guidelines/

Medtronic has updated the Global Heroes guidelines page with a "Learn more" link next to the rule about diabetics over 40.
Unfortunately, instead of actually leading anyone to information, where they could learn more, the link leads to an ignorant explanation for their ridiculous rule.

Thanks for the kudos, Jamie. I hope that as the word gets out, Medtronic and the Twin Cities Marathon will decide to do the right thing.
I noticed and appreciated the shamrock banners. Sorry I didn't mention it before. :-)
