Short post about today. Today’s 9.17 mile run was the hardest run of my life… well, the first 3 miles anyway. Turns out that the weight training I did last night (and focused on a hard 3 sets of Leg Press) really fatigued my legs for today’s run… I felt like I could barely lift them when I started to run. Got to 2.5 miles of a planned 5 miler, and decided I was kinda-sorta-maybe feeling better, and that I would stretch out the run to a longer one, walking if I needed to, and paying no attention to the SLOW time - after all, I was out to run and enjoy an afternoon off of work. If I turned around and went home miserable at 2.5, I would have wasted the afternoon.
See, things always do get better, (hope you’re listening to that left groin!)

Way to stay strong and keep at it… Even when your legs were tired.
A nice way to spend an afternoon off!
Glad to hear you pushed through the fatigue. Hope things continue to get better.
