Oh yeah, podcasting.... that's one thing I started and haven't been able to keep up. I need to get over the idea of perfectly editing them with audio and such and just start posting them... I've been enjoying the blogging so much that I've put it too far aside lately. Only 1 podcast to date... HOW SAD!

That's ok - not doing the marathon frees you up to focus on the World Media Run, baby! Woohoo! ;)

70.3 is an awesome goal. Knock it out, man.

I like to set goals for the new year, too. 1000 miles, wow! I just started running this past spring, and am really enjoying it. I'm going to bookmark your blog for some ongoing inspiration.

I agree with Chris. I have never set resolutions. If you want to set a goal, then set one. Remember that big goals are always acheived through small goals.

I have committed to running 1,000 miles this year. If you would like more information on my goal I could send it to you!

Still, good for you!

Good luck with your resolutions. I am not much of a believe in resolutions. More of a promoter of Goals. That's why I have setup goals for myself to accomplish. Well, good luck in your Ironman and hope that 2008 bring you much joy and success.

Hey, Jamie,
Sorry you'll miss the Napa Valley Marathon. I've run it twice, and it's a great one, a beautiful course, well planned and organized.
But that Half Ironman goal sounds like a tremendous adventure. Best wishes for your training this year and success in the triathlon in 2009!
